A LITTLE SPACE. A SLOWER PACE.

Less to figure out. More to feel.

Start where you are.

Somatic exercises bring attention to what you can feel: the movement of a breath, the weight of your hands, or the support beneath your feet. SOMA turns those small moments of awareness into short, guided practice cards.

  1. 01

    Notice

Choose what feels closest: racing, tight, drained, or foggy. There is no right answer.

  2. 02

    Draw a card

Find a small invitation to breathe, move gently, or reconnect with your surroundings.

  3. 03

    Take two minutes

Follow at your own pace. Pause, adapt, or stop whenever you need to.

Read first. Practice when you’re ready.

A place to begin.

A few things you might wonder

Room for questions.

What are somatic exercises?

They are practices that focus on bodily sensations, often through breath, gentle movement, touch, or awareness of your surroundings. SOMA offers simple educational exercises for everyday pauses. Read our beginner’s guide for examples.

Can I really reset my nervous system in two minutes?

“Reset” is a name for taking a break, not a medical claim. Two minutes gives you a manageable space to notice how you feel. It does not guarantee a change in symptoms or replace professional care.

Do I need an account or a subscription?

No. You can use the practice cards without an account or payment. Your card collection and practice history are saved in this browser. Email updates are optional.

What if focusing on my breath feels uncomfortable?

You can stop and breathe normally. Try noticing the room around you or the support of your chair instead. You do not need to close your eyes, hold your breath, or finish a timer.
